Job Description

We are hiring for Hanwha Q-Cells and looking for an experienced IP professional with strong technical and leadership capabilities.

𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬:
• Conduct Freedom to Operate (FTO) searches and analyses to support innovation and business strategy
• Perform Patentability / Novelty searches and Validity / Invalidity analyses
• Prepare Patent Landscape Reports, White Space Analysis, and Technology Insight Reports
• Track competitor patent activities and summarize global IP trends
• Work closely with Global R&D teams, inventors, patent engineers, and IP counsel
• Identify innovation opportunities and support invention harvesting initiatives

👥 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬:
• Manage and lead team members effectively
• Review team performance and productivity
• Allocate work and monitor deliverables
• Approve leaves, attendance, and schedules
• Handle escalations and resolve team issues
• Support hiring, performance evaluations, training, and mentoring

🎓 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐂𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐢𝐥𝐞:
• 8–13 years of hands-on experience in IP Analytics / Patent Research with people management skills
• Strong expertise in patent search tools and databases
• Prior experience in consulting firms or in-house IP teams
In-house experience as preferred (not mandatory).
• Minimum 2+ years of people management / leadership experience
• Domain expertise in Solar / Renewable Energy Technologies preferred
• IP drafting and prosecution knowledge preferred (not mandatory)

🎓 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: Bachelor’s / master’s in chemistry, Electrical, Electronics, Solar, or a related technical field
