Hiring: Research Associate / Young Professional II (Shrimp Health – Lab Based)
📍 ICAR–CIBA, Chennai

For CoSDIP – *India’s First Collaborative Shrimp Disease Investigation Program*, supported by the Shrimp Health Foundation.

CoSDIP is a national, farmer-driven, collaborative effort bringing together CIBA, RGCA, NFDB, CAA, farmer organisations, industry partners, and international collaborators including the University of Arizona to investigate RMS, WFS, white muscle–associated mortalities and other emerging shrimp health issues.

The selected candidate will work full-time at the CIBA lab on molecular diagnostics, data handling and disease investigation.

Essential Qualification (any one):
M.F.Sc. (AAHM / Aquaculture / Pathology / Microbiology / AEM)
OR
M.Sc. (Microbiology / Biotechnology / Zoology / Life Sciences – relevant specialisation)

Desirable Skills:
PCR / qPCR, molecular diagnostics, bacteriology, histopathology, bioinformatics, shrimp health research (EHP, WSSV, RMS/WFS etc.)
