Research Associate Position for Yeast Expression

Department – R&D Strain & Protein Engineering Lab

Job Profile

Experimental Design and Execution: Plan and conduct molecular biology experiments, including PCR, , qPCR, cloning,
recombinant protein expression, familiarity of expression platforms, gene expression analysis, and protein assays.

Prepare and manage reagents, samples, and equipment necessary for experimental procedures.

Develop and optimize protocols and techniques for specific research needs.

Data Analysis and Interpretation: Analyze experimental data using appropriate statistical methods and software.

Interpret results and troubleshoot experimental issues.

Document and present findings in written reports, research papers, and presentation

Lab Management: Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure that all procedures comply with safety regulations and
protocols.

Order and manage laboratory supplies and reagents.

Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of experimental procedures and results.

Research and Development: Stay current with the latest developments and techniques in molecular biology.

Contribute to the design and planning of new research projects

Requirement

Candidate must have Proficiency in molecular biology techniques such as PCR, gel electrophoresis, and gene cloning.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Familiarity with laboratory safety protocols and practices.

Qualification

Specialization: Molecular biology, gene cloning, protein expression in different platforms

Experience

Experience: 0-2 years experience with molecular biology techniques and laboratory practices. Prior research experience and familiarity with
operating equipment can be advantageous.
