Position Summary

We are seeking a Junior Regulatory Affairs Associate to join our growing team. This entry-level role is ideal for recent graduates or those with up to 2 years of experience in regulatory affairs, compliance, or related fields. The successful candidate will support our team in preparing regulatory submissions, conducting research, reviewing product labels, and communicating with clients across a range of regulated industries including Natural Health Products, cosmetics, foods, and OTC drugs. This is a full-time, remote-based position with opportunities for growth and development.

Detailed Responsibilities:

• Regulatory Research: Conduct literature reviews using databases such as PubMed, NMCD, and Google Scholar to support regulatory submissions and ingredient assessments.
• Regulatory Submissions: Assist in drafting and submitting regulatory documents including Product License Applications (PLAs), Medical Device Licenses (MDLs), MDELs, and DIN submissions to Health Canada and other global authorities.
• Client Support: Collect product information and documentation from clients, and support communication and coordination to ensure timely project delivery.
• Label Compliance: Review product labels for Natural Health Products, foods, cosmetics, and OTC drugs to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory frameworks.
• Documentation & Reporting: Prepare technical documents including safety summaries, efficacy reports, and gap analyses to support regulatory compliance.
• Project Coordination: Maintain up-to-date project trackers and assist in coordinating timelines and deliverables using internal project management systems.
• Compliance Monitoring: Stay informed about regulatory updates and emerging requirements in Canadian, U.S., and international markets to support client advisories.

Qualifications:

• Academic Background: Bachelor’s degree in a Life Science discipline (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Pharmacology) or completion of a Regulatory Affairs post-graduate certificate/diploma.
• Experience: Up to 2 years in regulatory affairs, quality assurance, or related role (internships/co-ops count).
• Technical Proficiency: Skilled in MS Word, Excel, and literature search tools.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to summarize complex information clearly.
• Attention to Detail: Demonstrates high accuracy and precision in documentation and label reviews.
• Organization: Capable of managing multiple deadlines and tasks with minimal supervision.
• Problem-Solving: Analytical thinker with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving regulatory challenges.
