Job Title: Bioinformatician (0–2 Years Experience)

👩💻 Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated Bioinformatician with 0–2 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in the design, execution, and optimization of bioinformatics pipelines for high-throughput sequencing data, contributing to accurate and timely diagnostic reporting.
📌 Key Responsibilities
Process and analyze next-generation sequencing (NGS) data.
Perform QC, alignment, variant calling, annotation, interpretation, and reporting.
Develop, Maintain, improve, and document bioinformatics pipelines.
Collaborate with wet-lab and clinical teams for end-to-end testing workflows.
Ensure compliance with laboratory quality and data security standards.
🎓 Qualifications
Master’s / Bachelor’s degree in Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, Computational Biology, or related field.
Experience (academic or professional) with NGS data analysis tools.
Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, R, Bash) and Linux environments.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
✨ Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
Prior exposure to clinical genomics or diagnostic testing workflows.
Experience with cloud or HPC environments.
Knowledge of databases (ClinVar, gnomAD, ACMG, COSMIC, etc).
