In this role, you’ll join the R&D Advisory Group within Syneos Health Consulting where you will help make life science R&D organizations and operations more efficient and effective across research, clinical, regulatory, quality and pharmacovigilance. As an R&D Consultant, you’ll help organizations in times of change whether that’s a change in operating model, strategy, processes, technology, or a combination of these. You will:

  • Work with senior customer stakeholders to comprehend the customer’s business goals, processes, operations, and expectations
  • Clearly define opportunities to deliver value to the customer by executing management consulting projects
  • Develop customer proposals, demonstrating a clear understanding of the needs and objectives, approach and solution, plus the commercial construct to deliver projects
  • Develop engagement strategies and present findings and recommendations to team members
  • Plan and lead the execution of project engagements
  • Conduct quality management oversight of project deliverables
  • Develop content to leverage in business development opportunities with prospective customers
  • Actively build a network of potential customers by utilizing social media, attending seminars and conferences, and through referrals

Essential Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or business
  • Consulting management experience in the life sciences, pharmaceutical/biotech consulting, or equivalent industry
  • Experience working in one or more R&D operational roles either in industry or consulting
  • Engagement management experience
  • Strong presentation and business development skills

Desired Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in life sciences or business
