Position Summary: Manager – R&D
The role involves performing in vitro biochemistry, cell biology and molecular biology studies, managing a team of scientists and associates, coordinating cross-functional research projects.
The person will lead and oversee scientific research and product development initiatives to drive innovation and support the company’s strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform, plan, design, and execute R&D projects in alignment with company goals and timelines.
• Manage and mentor a multidisciplinary team of researchers and technical staff.
• Develop protocols, SOPs, and documentation for experimental design, data analysis, and reporting.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth technology transfer and product scale-up.
• Evaluate new technologies, scientific literature, and industry trends to identify innovation opportunities.
• Ensure adherence to relevant regulatory standards and maintain compliance in all R&D activities.
• Prepare technical reports, dossiers, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Interface with external partners, academic collaborators, and CROs/CDMOs as needed.
• Monitor project budgets, resource allocation, and timelines.

Qualifications:

• Masters in Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or related field.
• 5 years of hands-on laboratory experience in R&D, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
• Strong understanding of scientific principles, experimental design, and data interpretation.
• Familiarity with product development lifecycle from bench to market.
