Institute for Resource Analysis and Policy (IRAP), a non-profit research organization working on natural resources in India and an internationally renowned think-tank on management of land and water resource, with its administrative office in Hyderabad, is seeking applications from eligible candidates for the following research positions:

1)         Research Officer

2)         Researcher

3)         Senior Researcher

To be considered for:

Position # 1, the candidate should have a post graduate degree in environmental sciences/environmental management/hydrology/geohydrology/water resources management/water resources engineering/agricultural engineering with 1-2 years of professional experience in related fields

Position # 2, the candidate should have a post graduate degree in water resources engineering/water resources management/ hydrology/ geohydrology/ environmental engineering/ agricultural engineering with 3-4 years of professional experience or Ph. D in environmental sciences/ environmental engineering/water resources engineering/water resources management/ecology/environmental studies with 1-2 years of professional experience.

Position # 3, the candidates should have a post graduate degree in water resources engineering/water resources management/ hydrology/ geohydrology/environmental engineering/environmental sciences/agricultural engineering with 7-8 years of experience or Ph. D in water resources/ ecology/environmental sciences with 3-4 years of professional experience

For all the above positions, candidates with good publication record (in standard peer reviewed journals) can be considered, even if they do not fulfil the eligibility criteria vis-à-vis the prescribed qualifications and number of years of experience. Candidates with field research experience will be preferred for all positions.
