Advertisement for research positions-One Young Professional-II
Applications are invited from suitable candidates for filling up One Young Professional-II for the
project titled, ‘Development and validation of recombinant multivalent porcine viral vaccine and
DIVA diagnostics’ funded by ICAR-NASF under the guidance of Dr. Madhuri Subbiah.
Position: Young Professional-II (one)
Eligibility criteria: Post graduates in life sciences relevant to the study area or graduate degree
in holders in relevant Agricultural sciences or Technology from a recognized University of
equivalent as per ICAR OM dated 7th December 2023.
Salary: Rs. 42,000/- per month (fixed)
Desired experiences: Experience in RNA, DNA isolations, PCR, QPCR, cloning, recombinant
protein expression and hands-on experience in cell culture and virus propagation in cells, virus
titration and in vitro characterization.
Upper Age limit: 45 years
Duration of the project: 1 year starting from January 2026 (the appointment may be renewed
based on satisfactory performance till the completion of the project)
