🚨 3-6 month Research Internship Opportunity (January – July 2026) at BITS Pilani, Hyderabad Campus– Join the Fight Against Tuberculosis! 🦠
We are recruiting highly motivated, resilient, and self-driven researchers to work on one of the most challenging and fascinating pathogens — Mycobacterium tuberculosis.
TB remains the world’s leading bacterial killer, capable of persisting for decades and evading host immunity. Cracking its biology demands patience, precision, and perseverance.
🔬 Research Areas
Host–pathogen interaction | Mycobacterial genetics & mutagenesis | Omics | Biochemistry | Lipidomics | Molecular microbiology| Immunology
🎓 Preferred Background
Master’s in Biochemistry / Microbiology (highly preferred); Students from 2025/2026 graduating batches only.
🔧 Hands-on research experience and strong experimental skills are a must.

💰 During the PhD program, candidates are expected to either hold a national fellowship such as CSIR-UGC, PMRF, ICMR, DBT, DST-INSPIRE, or be able to successfully clear the BITS Pilani PhD entrance examination and interview process.

-Your 5-year and 10-year career goals
-Your motivation to work on Mycobacterium tuberculosis and pursue high-rigor research
