Job Description

The Fountain Group is currently seeking a Biologist III for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Worcester, MA. Details for the position are as follows:

• Pay: $45-53/hr.
• 12-month assignment with possibility for extension or conversion based on performance and budget.

Responsibilities:

• Execute experiments in cell line development and characterization with supervision.
• Extensive cell culture work – both directly and through coordination with the automation sub-team.
• Perform data acquisition and analysis in a timely manner.
• Assist in experimental designs, data interpretation and troubleshooting.
• Document work appropriately in lab notebooks, reports and presentations.
• Assist with lab operations and continuous improvement activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience OR Master’s degree with 2+ years required
• Mammalian cell line development experience required
• Experience with plasmid design/PCR and NGS preferred
• Flow cytometry experience is preferred
