Prestigious international fellowship aims to strengthen scientific collaboration between India and its neighbouring countries by supporting short-term research visits to India.

The last date for proposal submission is 31 March 2026.

This ISRF Programme motivate researchers of selected neighbouring countries to conduct high-quality research at Indian research laboratories / academic institutions.

The programme is fully funded by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), New Delhi, and implemented through the Indian National Science Academy (INSA).

Researchers from the following countries are eligible:

Afghanistan
Bangladesh
Bhutan
Maldives
Myanmar
Nepal
Sri Lanka
Thailand
