🎓 Qualification: Master’s or PhD in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, or Microbiology
💼 Experience: 2–5 years of relevant experience in Molecular Biology or Industrial Biotechnology

🔬 Key Responsibilities: ✔ Design and execute molecular biology experiments including gene design/editing, cloning, DNA/RNA extraction, and gel electrophoresis
✔ Perform cloning and recombinant protein expression in bacterial (E. coli, Bacillus) and yeast (Pichia, Saccharomyces) systems
✔ Apply genetic manipulation techniques to optimize expression systems and improve recombinant protein/metabolite production
✔ Implement chromosomal integration and genome editing using homologous recombination and CRISPR-based approaches
✔ Execute protein expression, purification, and characterization methods
✔ Design strain and metabolic engineering strategies, including pathway design and flux analysis
✔ Develop, validate, and optimize enzyme assays for enzyme engineering programs
✔ Establish, maintain, and characterize Master and Working Cell Banks
✔ Ensure accurate documentation, data integrity, and preparation of technical reports, manuscripts, and presentations
✔ Support fermentation and downstream processing through genetic-level troubleshooting and optimization
🧠 Preferred Skills: ✔ Hands-on experience in cloning, gene expression, and microbial systems
✔ Knowledge of bioinformatics tools and sequence analysis
✔ Familiarity with yeast and bacterial expression platforms
✔ Experience in enzyme engineering or biotransformation processes
✔ Understanding of fermentation and downstream processing
