 The Faculty Induction Programme(FIP) is designed for faculty members in Central, State, Deemed to be Universities, Private Universities, Institutions of National Importance, Colleges and other HEIs. It familiarizes them with curriculum development, teaching-learning methodologies, assessment and evaluation techniques, ICT-enabled teaching-learning, and university rules and regulations etc. For newly appointed teachers, the Faculty Induction Programme(FIP) is mandatory to be completed within one year of appointment.

►  Refresher Course:
(i) Participation in the FIP is a prerequisite for admission in refreshre courses. The teacher may opt for a refresher course after a one-year gap following FIP. For residential RCs, there should be a minimum gap of one year between two refresher courses, though it may be relaxed if an adequate number of participants are not available, or it is essential for the teacher to fulfill eligibility conditions for career advancement as prescribed by UGC from time-to-time.
(ii)Faculty members working in universities and colleges that are included under Section 2(f) of the UGC Act. The teachers of colleges that do not yet come within the purview of Section 2(f), but have been affiliated to a university for at least three years, will be permitted to participate in the courses. These conditions are applicable only for Residential Training Programmes/Courses.

►  Short term Courses: Faculty members working in universities and colleges that are included under Section 2(f) of the UGC Act. The teachers of colleges that do not yet come within the purview of Section 2(f), but have been affiliated to a university for at least three years, will be permitted to participate in the courses. पाठ्यक्रम पात्रता

 ► संकाय प्रेरण कार्यक्रम (FIP), केंद्रीय, राज्य, डीम्ड विश्वविद्यालयों, निजी विश्वविद्यालयों, राष्ट्रीय महत्व के संस्थानों, कॉलेजों और अन्य उच्च शिक्षा संस्थानों में संकाय सदस्यों के लिए डिज़ाइन किया गया है। यह उन्हें पाठ्यक्रम विकास, शिक्षण-शिक्षण पद्धतियों, मूल्यांकन और मूल्यांकन तकनीकों, आईसीटी-सक्षम शिक्षण-शिक्षण और विश्वविद्यालय के नियमों और विनियमों आदि से परिचित कराता है। नव नियुक्त शिक्षकों के लिए, नियुक्ति के एक वर्ष के भीतर संकाय प्रेरण कार्यक्रम (FIP) पूरा करना अनिवार्य है।

►  पुनश्चर्या पाठ्यक्रम:
(i) रिफ्रेशर कोर्स में प्रवेश के लिए FIP में भागीदारी एक शर्त है। FIP के बाद एक साल के अंतराल के बाद शिक्षक रिफ्रेशर कोर्स का विकल्प चुन सकते हैं। आवासीय आरसी के लिए, दो रिफ्रेशर पाठ्यक्रमों के बीच कम से कम एक वर्ष का अंतराल होना चाहिए, हालांकि यदि पर्याप्त संख्या में प्रतिभागी उपलब्ध नहीं हैं, तो इसमें छूट दी जा सकती है, या शिक्षक के लिए यूजीसी द्वारा समय-समय पर निर्धारित कैरियर उन्नति के लिए पात्रता शर्तों को पूरा करना आवश्यक हो।
(ii)यूजीसी अधिनियम की धारा 2(एफ) के अंतर्गत आने वाले विश्वविद्यालयों और कॉलेजों में कार्यरत संकाय सदस्य। ऐसे कॉलेजों के शिक्षक जो अभी धारा 2(एफ) के दायरे में नहीं आते हैं, लेकिन कम से कम तीन वर्षों से किसी विश्वविद्यालय से संबद्ध हैं, उन्हें पाठ्यक्रमों में भाग लेने की अनुमति दी जाएगी। ये शर्तें केवल आवासीय प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रमों/पाठ्यक्रमों के लिए लागू हैं।

►  अल्पकालिक पाठ्यक्रम: यूजीसी अधिनियम की धारा 2(एफ) के अंतर्गत आने वाले विश्वविद्यालयों और कॉलेजों में कार्यरत संकाय सदस्य। ऐसे कॉलेजों के शिक्षक जो अभी धारा 2(एफ) के दायरे में नहीं आते हैं, लेकिन कम से कम तीन वर्षों से किसी विश्वविद्यालय से संबद्ध हैं, उन्हें पाठ्यक्रमों में भाग लेने की अनुमति दी जाएगी। ये शर्तें केवल आवासीय प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रमों/पाठ्यक्रमों के लिए लागू हैं।.

How to apply

Step 1: Please read the intructions carefully before applying to the course and check your eligibility.
Step 2: Before applying for the course, the list of available courses can be checked in Step 2 : “Check available courses” tab. The last date of application is given with each course.
Step 3: You are required to pay the non refundable application fee of ₹ 500 /- first before applying to a course. There will be no Registration Fee to be paid after selection.
Step 4: After submission of application fee, Kindly visit this page again through MMTTC main website. Click on top menu “Apply Online for the Course” tab and fill the course details, personal details etc. along with the Confirmed fee submission transaction ID or receipt no. and submit the form. After submission, A unique APPLICATION NUMBER will be generated . Please note/save the application number as it will be required for login purpose. Login at http://jnu.ac.in/mmttconline/log.php through main website and upload your photograph.Download your application form and get it duly signed/ forwarded through proper channel,the head of your institution / organisation.
