BeST Cluster is inviting applications for the ‘𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐌 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐬: BioWISE 2025 (𝐂𝐨𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐭 1- 𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝐏𝐆 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬)’, in collaboration with Biocon Foundation – India, a CSR arm of Biocon Biologics and the National Centre for Biological Sciences (NCBS).

This initiative is designed to empower and support women pursuing advanced studies and careers in STEM fields. Through this programme, selected 15 Post-Graduate students will be awarded scholarships, along with access to dedicated mentorship from leading experts in lifesciences.

𝐄𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲:
Post-Graduate students focusing on fields related to life sciences like Biotechnology, #Microbiology, Chemistry, Pharma, Applied Biology, & related subjects are encouraged to apply.

𝐒𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐚:
Applicants must meet the following requirements to be considered
🔸Must be a female student currently in the final year of Post-Graduate studies or completed their degree in the last year
🔸Belongs to a family with a total annual income of less than 6 lakhs rupees
🔸Must have consistently demonstrated strong academic performance, with a minimum of 75% marks
🔸Should be enrolled in or graduated from any college or university located in Karnataka. Candidates from Tier-2 and Tier-3 colleges will be given preference.
🔸Must exhibit a clear and demonstrated interest in applied research.
🔸First-generation learners will be given preference
🔸Candidates and close relatives associated with our promoting partners (Biocon Group, BeST, or NCBS) are not eligible to apply.
