Genentech is Hiring! Our Genentech Community College Internship Program (gCCIP) applications are live for summer 2026!

This is a unique opportunity for Community College students to gain relevant skills while working on business-critical projects, putting them on track to pursue a career in the biopharma industry.

Since these roles are in-person, you’d have the opportunity to connect with other Genentech employees, like how 2025 gCCIP #intern Priyam Tated met our CEO, Ashley Magargee.

I’m happy to answer any questions about the program! We have opportunities in South San Francisco, CA, in wet labs, digital roles, operations, and public affairs. Additionally, we have roles in Oceanside, CA, for manufacturing.

To qualify, you must be 18 or older with a high school diploma or GED. Applicants should be currently enrolled at a community college or have a terminal A.S./A.A. degree within 1.5 years of their graduation date.
