Job Description
We’re hiring a Bioinformation/Data Engineer at Endolith. Microbes are small. The work we’re doing is not. ✨
This is a role for people who love technical depth and technical range. The kind of engineers who care about elegant systems, but also want to understand the biology, the instrumentation, the constraints, and the people behind the data.
If you get energy from building production-grade pipelines, debugging weird edge cases, and sitting with scientists to understand what the data actually means, you’ll thrive here. If you value rigor, reproducibility, and shared ownership over heroics, even better.
At Endolith, copper is the backbone of electrification, and biology is part of the solution. We’re building biological and data-driven systems to unlock stranded copper with less waste, less carbon, and more integrity. This work lives at the intersection of software engineering, bioinformatics, chemistry, and field operations. It requires curiosity, humility, and the ability to collaborate across disciplines that don’t always speak the same language.
You’ll work with a deeply experienced, diverse team of scientists, engineers, and operators who care about doing hard things well. This is not a research role. It’s an engineering role with real accountability and real-world impact.
This is the kind of job and team you don’t see often. High trust. High standards. Real problems. If that excites you, email your resume and a short note to info@endolithmining.com with the subject “Senior Bioinformatics Data Engineer.”
