Genomic Variant Scientist at Genalive
Join a mission-driven team advancing precision diagnostics and transforming patient care.
We are looking for a passionate Genomic Variant Scientist with strong expertise in NGS data interpretation (WES/WGS & targeted panels) and ACMG-based variant classification to strengthen our clinical genomics team.
🔬 Who You Are
You hold a PhD or MSc in Genetics or a related field, with hands-on experience in a genetic diagnostics laboratory:
• PhD: Minimum 1 year of relevant lab experience
• MSc: Minimum 2 years of experience
You have demonstrated competence in variant interpretation, reporting, and correlating genomic findings with clinical phenotypes.
📋 Key Responsibilities
• Analyze, interpret, and report genetic variants from NGS (WES/WGS) and targeted panels
• Classify variants using ACMG guidelines
• Correlate genetic findings with patient phenotype and family history
• Contribute to high-quality clinical reports that guide patient management
🛂 Licensing Requirements
• Classified by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) as Specialist (or eligible for classification)
