Job Description

We’re hiring for a Lab Manager at the Institute for Protein Design and looking for a highly organized, proactive candidate to help keep our operations running smoothly. This role supports more than 250 scientists across multiple locations by managing inventory, equipment, lab spaces, and a team of undergraduate assistants.

🔬 What you’ll do:
• Oversee supplies + equipment across multiple sites
• Keep shared lab spaces safe, organized, and efficient
• Supervise and train undergraduate lab assistants
• Support onboarding and daily lab operations
• Coordinate with vendors and help manage purchasing workflows

🌟 Who we’re looking for:
Bachelor’s in a life science field, experience in wet‑lab environments, strong communication + organizational skills, and a collaborative mindset.
