Job Title: NGS Applications Research Associate
We are seeking a highly motivated NGS Applications Research Associate to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
Support end-to-end Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) workflows.
Perform DNA, RNA, and protein extraction from various sample types.
Quantify nucleic acids using Qubit, TapeStation, or similar platforms.
Prepare sequencing libraries for WGS, WES, RNA-seq, and target panels (e.g., TSO500).
Support TCR/BCR repertoire profiling and methylation sequencing workflows.
Operate sequencing instruments, including library pooling and loading.
Perform single-cell and spatial genomics workflows (10x Genomics preferred).
Maintain and culture mammalian cell lines using aseptic techniques.
Conduct proteomics workflows, including protein extraction and LC-MS/MS.
Follow strict QC guidelines and maintain accurate documentation.
Troubleshoot assays and optimize experimental protocols.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support R&D projects.
Assist with client interactions and provide technical support when needed.
Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
Qualifications:
Bachelors or Master’s degree in Molecular Biology, Genetics, or a related field.
2–3 years of hands-on NGS experience preferred.
Experience with RNA-seq, PacBio, or single-cell applications is a plus.
Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
