Hiring: Project Technical Support III | ICMR-NARFBR, Hyderabad | Emerging Viral Diseases

We are recruiting for a critical ICMR-funded project at the National Animal Resource Facility for Biomedical Research (NARFBR), Hyderabad. This project focuses on the validation of viral therapeutic targets and the development of novel small animal models for emerging viral diseases.

Position: Project Technical Support III

No. of positions : 2

Location: ICMR-NARFBR, Genome Valley, Hyderabad

Total Emoluments: ₹35,600/- per month (Consolidated, including HRA)

Key Responsibilities:
·        Model Development: Assistance in developing and characterizing small animal models for high-priority emerging viruses.
·        BSL-3 Research: Executing experiments in high-containment Biosafety Level 3 (BSL-3) laboratories.
·        Advanced Molecular Work: Performing Western Blot, Cloning, IP, and Pull-down assays to validate therapeutic targets (continuing our work on targets like miR-122).
·        Omics Analysis: Wet lab and data analysis for NGS and Proteomics.
Mandatory Requirements:
·        Hands-on experience with small animal models is a strict prerequisite.
·        Prior experience in BSL-3 laboratory operations.
·        Strong background in molecular biology techniques.
