📍 Location: Koramangala, Bengaluru
🧑🔬 Project: Elderly Lifestyle and Indicators for Thriving and Engagement (ELITE)
📑 Position Type: Contract

Are you passionate about field research, community engagement, and making a meaningful impact on elderly well-being? We invite motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Research Assistants for a mixed-method study focused on the quality of life of Bengaluru’s urban elderly population.
🔍 About the Project
The ELITE study aims to assess the Quality of Life (QOL) of elderly individuals living in urban Bengaluru through standardized tools and in-depth qualitative interviews.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
Conduct field-based data collection across urban Bengaluru
Administer structured questionnaires and face-to-face interviews
Obtain informed consent from all participants
Ensure confidentiality, accuracy, and ethical data handling
Record, verify, and enter data using forms/tablets/mobile apps
Coordinate with supervisors to meet daily/weekly targets
Share regular field updates and challenges
Support interview scheduling, participant sensitization, transcription, and documentation
🎓 Required Qualifications
Master’s degree in MSW, Clinical Psychology, or related social/behavioural sciences
Experience with qualitative interviews (IDIs/FGDs) preferred
Prior research experience with elderly populations
Proficiency in Kannada and basic English
Basic computer and digital data-entry skills

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Willingness to travel within urban Bengaluru
📅 Duration & Salary
Duration: 1 year (extendable based on progress)
Remuneration: (Based on qualifications & experience)
Travel allowance as per project norms.
