WE ARE HIRING – Research Associate (RA) (Two Positions) | BITS Pilani, K K Birla Goa Campus and BITS Pilani, Pilani Campus for the DST-funded project “Bio-Oil to Green Hydrogen Production and Scale-Up Demonstration”.

The project aims to develop and demonstrate an integrated thermo-chemical pathway for producing green hydrogen from biomass-derived bio-oil at a scalable level. It involves designing and optimizing oxy-steam and plasma-based gasification systems for efficient bio-oil-to-hydrogen conversion, supported by detailed techno-economic and life cycle assessments to ensure commercial and environmental viability.

Ideal Candidate:
PhD (completed or submitted) in Chemical/ Mechanical/ Energy Science Engineering or equivalent with a minimum of 60% marks in B.E. or BTech/ M.E. or M.Tech in Chemical/ Mechanical/Energy Science Engineering. Preference will be given to fellows having prior experience in thermo-chemical system development with a certain background of experimental and modelling studies.

Stipend: Rs ₹ 58000-67000 + HRA (as applicable) / month
