I’m excited to share that my lab at New York Medical College is hiring a full time Research Technician! We are looking for someone who brings strong motivation and work ethic, and a genuine dedication to learning! This role requires a minimum two year commitment and offers an excellent path for those preparing for graduate or medical school. The position provides hands on experience with human pulmonary vascular cell culture, pharmacological treatments, proliferation and apoptosis assays, immunoblotting, qRT PCR, staining, basic in vivo models, and bioinformatic tools for data analysis. You will also take part in experiment design, data collection, and interpretation.
Prior experience with mammalian cell culture and molecular techniques is appreciated and helpful, but the ability to learn quickly, stay organized, and work both independently and within a team is even more important. Clear communication and attention to detail are essential.
