Location: Ghansoli, Navi Mumbai, India
Experience: 3–4 years (Oncology); someone with 2-4 year on NGS based clinical diagnostic testing in the industry. Freshers or related experience candiadats please DO NOT apply.
Qualification: M.Sc./M.Tech/Ph.D.
Notice period: 1 month max.

The Scientific Officer – NGS (Wet Lab) will support oncology-focused next-generation sequencing workflows in a high-quality, accredited environment. The role involves sample handling, NGS library preparation, equipment operation, quality documentation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and accurate testing processes.

Key Responsibilities
-Prepare NGS libraries for oncology gene panels using Illumina and/or Thermo Fisher platforms.
-Perform DNA/RNA extractions from diverse clinical samples including blood, bone marrow, and FFPE tissues.
-Conduct QC and quantification of nucleic acids and libraries using Qubit, Bioanalyzer/TapeStation, and qPCR.
-Assist with NGS run setup and perform basic instrument troubleshooting.
Maintain precise and compliant documentation as per NABL/CLIA quality standards.
-Participate in method validation and process optimization experiments.
Collaborate closely with bioinformatics and clinical reporting teams for data correlation and workflow alignment.
