This role involves designing and implementing field experiments and demonstration plots comparing traditional farming practices with improved nitrogen management approaches. You will lead and evaluate field demonstrations, oversee baseline, midline, and endline surveys, and ensure scientific rigor in project implementation.

You will be responsible for collecting, managing, and validating primary and secondary data using tools like GIS, R, Python, and Excel for spatial and statistical analysis. The role also includes conducting farmer trainings on nitrogen use efficiency and Climate-Smart Agriculture (CSA) practices, mentoring field teams, and supporting the development of community “Climate Champions.”

Strong coordination with research institutions, government bodies, farming communities, and local partners is essential. You will also contribute to technical reports, research publications, policy briefs, and stakeholder workshops to support advisory systems and policy integration.

Ideal for professionals with 5–8 years of experience in agronomy, soil science, agricultural extension, and field-based research, especially those experienced in farmer training, Farmer Field Schools, and coordination with farming communities.
