Immediate hiring in Cell & Protein Science Department for Senior Research Associate at Aragen, Hyderabad.

Position: Senior Research Associate (P2 level)
Qualification: MSc/MTech in any of the applied biological sciences (Eg., Biotechnology, Microbiology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry etc.)
Experience: Masters with 3-4 years in an academic or industrial set up

Technical Skillsets:
·      Proficient in handling ÄKTA systems- GO, Pure, Avant etc
·      Protein purification by various chromatographic techniques- Affinity, Ion exchange, GFC, HIC, MMC etc.
·      Experience with antibody purification- mAbs, Bispecifics, Fabs, scFvs, Fc- Fusions etc
·      Protein QC – Protein estimation, SDS-PAGE, Western Blotting, ELISA, Endotoxin measurement
·      Inclusion body purification and refolding
·      Understanding of SE-HPLC, Mass spec, data interpretation

Responsibilities:
·      Endotoxin free purification of various proteins
•        Maintenance ÄKTA systems and protein purification equipment.
•        Maintain and ensure highest data integrity and adhere to related policies.
•        Maintain the lab notebooks with proper recording of data.
•        Organized storage of the raw data in the designated storage space
•        Analysis of the data and interpretation of results
•        Preparation of presentations and reports
•        Training of junior scientists
•        Ensuring compliance to SOPs while conducting the studies
•        Maintenance and usage of equipment/instruments as per SOPs and general housekeeping norms.
•        Essential Team player with good interaction with other team members
•        Enhance knowledge in the work area through formal and informal means of learning.
•        Focus on developing behavioral competencies through behavioral workshops and feedback discussion with manager.
