Job Description

The MBBS & Master of Public Health (MPH) Research Internship Program at the Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru is now open.

This initiative aims to provide early research exposure to medical and public health students, helping nurture the next generation of physician-scientists in India.

Selected students will work under the mentorship of IISc faculty on the Bengaluru campus for 4–8 weeks, gaining hands-on experience in interdisciplinary research.

📅 Internship Duration
4–8 weeks (between mid-May and December 2026)

🎓 Eligibility
MBBS Students
Students registered at an MCI/NMC-recognized medical school in India who are:
• In Phase 3 – Part 2, or
• Completing Phase 3 – Part 1 before September 2026

MPH Students
Students who have completed or will complete the first year of their MPH degree before June 2026 at a recognized institute in India.

₹35,000 (consolidated)
