Job Description

I am looking for candidates with a valid CSIR-JRF, UGC-JRF, DBT-JRF (Category I), or ICMR-JRF fellowship to join our group at IIT Hyderabad for a PhD.
PhD scholar will have the opportunity to work on an interdisciplinary research project, Liquid-Liquid phase separation of Biomolecular condensate, cancer drug targets characterization, inhibitor/drug design, and/or enzyme engineering characterization for active pharmaceutical ingredient synthesis. We use multi-pronged and complementary approaches, including biochemical & biophysical, computational/bioinformatics, structural (X-ray crystallography) techniques that each feed into one another, to investigate the macromolecular-mediated recognition & characterization, validation of drug targets, catalysis & enzyme engineering, and inhibitors/drug/vaccine design.
We also have PhD positions in Computational genomics and transcriptomics, Computational biology, and bioinformatics.
