Job Description

KSCSTE – Institute for Climate Change Studies (ICCS) is a research organization under the
Kerala State Council for Science, Technology, and Environment (KSCSTE), Department of Science
and Technology, Government of Kerala. The institute’s primary objective is to conduct focused
research on the state-specific impacts of climate change and develop strategies for climate change
management and adaptation. ICCS’s research areas encompass atmospheric sciences, climate
dynamics, disaster management, and the study of climate change impacts on various sectors,
including water resources, ocean, land, agriculture, and health. To consolidate our position and to
prepare for the emerging challenges in these areas, we invite dynamic and talented Scientists who are
actively pursuing research in selected disciplines, to join us.
Applications are invited from Indian researchers with an excellent academic record to fill the
following scientific positions of Project Scientist-I, Project Scientist-II, and Project Scientist-III
at ICCS. These positions are purely contractual (temporary), initially for a period of one year, with
the possibility of further extension, subject to satisfactory progress and performance.
