Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated PhD-level Immunologist with postdoctoral training and direct, hands-on experience in mast cell biology. The ideal candidate excels at designing, executing, and interpreting mast-cell–related experiments; demonstrates strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills; and is an adaptable, fast learner who thrives in a fast-paced drug discovery and development environment. This role is highly collaborative and will directly contribute to target validation, mechanism-of-action studies, and the identification, optimization, and development of drug candidates.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop, optimize, and execute mast-cell functional assays.
· Perform flow cytometry, ELISA, Western blot, and other molecular and cellular experiments.
· Conduct functional screening and characterization of drug leads.
· Design, optimize, and troubleshoot in vitro and in vivo experiments.
· Interact with and manage CROs to ensure high-quality and timely deliveries.
· Maintain accurate, detailed laboratory notebooks
· Generate high-quality data packages.
· Present findings clearly and effectively to internal teams, collaborators, and stakeholders.
Qualifications
· PhD with postdoctoral training in Immunology, Cell Biology, or a related field.
· Deep expertise in mast cell biology, including activation pathways, functional assays, and their roles in inflammatory diseases.
· Strong bench experience: flow cytometry, cell culture, cytokine assays, ELISA/MSD.
· Proven problem-solving ability and scientific rigor.
· Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
