Your Role:

We are seeking a highly qualified Senior Scientist to join our ADC Bioconjugation Team. This dedicated team is responsible for the production of antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) for discovery projects and the development of new methods for ADC generation. The team also plays a crucial role in ADC discovery and design, as well as in the exploration of new bioconjugate concepts.

The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on expertise in antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs), particularly in site-specific protein bioconjugation techniques, along with a strong background in downstream processing, purification methods, and analytical techniques. Experience in collaboration with external Contract Research Organizations (CROs) is a plus.

Who You Are:

• Master’s degree, preferably a Ph.D., in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of industry experience in antibody-drug conjugates.
• Extensive hands-on expertise in protein bioconjugation techniques (particularly ADCs), downstream processing and purification methods, and analytical techniques such as HPLC, mass spectrometry, and spectroscopy.
• Deep understanding of antibody-drug conjugates, their mechanisms and applications as well as experience in protein and ADC engineering.
• Experience with external contract research organizations and lab automation is a plus.
• Demonstrated leadership, project management and presentation skills, with experience mentoring junior scientists and strong communication abilities for effective collaboration in a matrix organization.
• A publication record in peer-reviewed journals and/or patents related to bioconjugation or drug development.
• Fluent in english, german is a plus
