The University of Florida Health Cancer Institute’s STRONGER Program (Summer Training in Research and Oncology for the Next Generation of Researchers) provides undergraduate students with an immersive 12-week internship in cancer research.
Through hands-on training and mentoring, interns develop their skills as young scientists and enhance their portfolio to successfully apply to a Ph.D. program.

The STRONGER program (Summer Training in Research and Oncology for the Next Generation of Researchers) offers undergraduate students an immersive 12-week summer internship at the University of Florida Health Cancer Institute. Interns will develop their skills as young scientists and explore their interest in cancer research, while benefiting from the expertise of accomplished cancer investigators.

The STRONGER program aims to help students completing their baccalaureate degrees to successfully apply to health-related Ph.D. programs to pursue careers in cancer research.
