‼️The Malaker Lab at Yale is recruiting Postdoctoral Research Associate(s) to join our team ‼️We study glycoproteomics, mucin biochemistry, and the are attempting to understand how glycans shape human health and disease. Our group is collaborative, supportive, and driven by curiosity; if you’re excited about our science, we want to hear from you.

We welcome applicants from a variety of backgrounds, especially those with experience in any of the following:
– Mass spectrometry (proteomics, glycoproteomics, method development, instrumentation, or related areas)
– Molecular biology (cloning, expression systems, cell culture, or biochemical assays)
– Chemical biology, biochemistry, or adjacent fields relevant to our research program
Enthusiasm, creativity, and a willingness to learn are just as important as specific technical skills.

What You’ll Do:
– Lead independent research projects aligned with the lab’s mission
– Develop and apply new analytical approaches
– Collaborate with internal and external partners
– Mentor trainees and contribute to a positive lab culture
– Present findings at conferences and in peer-reviewed publications

Qualifications:
– Ph.D. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Chemical Biology, or a related discipline
– Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
– A track record of research productivity
