We are looking for a motivated M.Sc. graduate (Biotechnology, Life Sciences or related fields) with 1 year of hands-on laboratory experience to join our research team.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Research Associate with hands-on experience in cell culture, plasmid isolation, and viral production to join our research team. The candidate will assist in routine laboratory experiments, maintain cell lines, and support molecular biology workflows in compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and biosafety guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
– Maintain and propagate mammalian and microbial cell lines under sterile conditions.
– Perform plasmid isolation, purification, and analysis.
– Assist in viral vector production (e.g., lentivirus).
– Prepare media, reagents, and buffers.
– Maintain accurate lab documentation and ensure biosafety compliance.

Required Skills:
– Hands-on experience in mammalian and microbial cell culture.
– Knowledge of plasmid DNA isolation and analysis.
– Familiarity with sterile techniques, media preparation, and record keeping.
– Basic understanding of PCR, gel electrophoresis, and spectrophotometry.
– Good organizational skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
– Awareness of BSL-2 laboratory practices.
