About the Role:
We are looking for a motivated Molecular Biologist (0–3 years) with hands-on molecular biology experience to support human multi-omics workflows. The role involves processing blood, saliva, stool, and urine for downstream DNA, RNA, protein, lipid, microbiome, and metabolite extraction.
You will support QC, extraction, amplification, and preparation workflows for whole-genome sequencing, transcriptomics, proteomics, metabolomics, lipidomics, and microbiome pipelines. Accuracy, documentation discipline, and adherence to SOPs are essential.
You will work closely with senior scientists, genomics specialists, and bioinformatics teams.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform DNA, RNA, protein, lipid, and metabolite extraction from human blood, saliva, stool, and urine.
Conduct PCR, qPCR, gel electrophoresis, and related molecular assays.
Assist in NGS library preparation steps for genomics and transcriptomics pipelines.
Carry out sample QC using NanoDrop, Qubit, Bioanalyzer, TapeStation.
Support gut microbiome workflows, including microbial DNA extraction and QC.
Conduct sample preparation for metabolomics and lipidomics pipelines.
Maintain accurate sample documentation and digital records through LIMS or equivalent systems.
Follow biosafety, contamination control, and GLP standards as per SOPs.
Maintain laboratory instruments and support troubleshooting and workflow optimization efforts.
Work collaboratively with wet-lab and bioinformatics teams on multi-omics projects.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in molecular biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or related life sciences field.
0–3 years of hands-on laboratory experience.
Proficient in nucleic acid extraction, PCR/qPCR, and core molecular biology and biochemistry techniques.
Understanding of biosafety regulations, GLP, and laboratory documentation practices.

Preferred Skills:
Experience handling human samples: blood, saliva, stool, urine.
Familiarity with sequencing workflows and QC methods.
Exposure to gut microbiome, metabolomics, or lipidomics sample preparation.
Basic knowledge of LIMS or digital lab-tracking tools.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Technical Expertise (Preferred):
Core equipment: pipettes, centrifuges, biosafety cabinets, thermal cyclers, homogenizers.
Analytical systems: NanoDrop, Qubit, Bioanalyzer, TapeStation.
Molecular techniques: PCR, qPCR, electrophoresis, enzymatic workflows.
