🧬 We’re hiring: Assistant Professor (Non-Tenure Track) – Molecular Biology & Epigenetics 🧬
The Naik Lab at Mount Sinai is looking for a highly motivated scientist to join us as an Assistant Professor (Non-Tenure). This is an exciting opportunity to lead cutting-edge research at the intersection of immunology and regenerative medicine.
We’re especially seeking candidates with expertise in:
🔹 Advanced molecular biology (cloning, in vivo models)
🔹 Epigenetics and gene regulation
🔹 High-throughput CRISPR screening and functional genomics
What you’ll do:
Drive independent, high-impact research projects
Explore molecular drivers of tissue repair, inflammation, and disease relapse
Collaborate across disciplines within Mount Sinai and with biotech/pharma partners
Contribute to both fundamental discovery and translational impact
What we’re looking for:
Ph.D. (or equivalent) in a relevant field
4+ years of postdoctoral experience in molecular biology and in vivo approaches
Strong publication record and passion for scientific innovation
