Location: Bangalore preferred (remote-first with frequent travel).
Compensation: Early salary range: USD 3,000–4,000 per month.
Commitment: Full-time, high-focus startup role.
Reporting to: Founders.
Growth Path: Can evolve into a Chief of Staff or COO role if the fit is strong.

This role sits at the intersection of community, programs, communication, and culture for someone who wants to help build a high-signal environment where deep-tech work and new societal ideas can flourish.
This role is a combination of multiple roles across departments and we expect the candidate to be comfortable with wearing multiple hats.
Role Objectives
Your work will support four main outcomes:
- Build a world-class community and talent pipeline for ZuGrama.
- Grow a distinct culture grounded in scientific reasoning, clear thinking, and deep-tech ambition.
- Run consistent, high-quality programs, residencies, and thematic tracks.
- Help position ZuGrama as one of the leading frontier-tech villages globally.
What You Will Do
1. Community Building
- Build and maintain an intellectually rigorous and socially active deep-tech community.
- Run townhalls, discussions, check-ins, and community rituals.
- Engage founders, researchers, mentors, and residents with consistency and care.
- Keep the environment high-trust, thoughtful, and momentum-driven.
2. Program Management
- Execute grants , residencies, accelerators, and track-based programs across deep-tech and scientific domains.
- Manage logistics, timelines, ops, communication, and coordination at a high standard.
- Work closely with speakers, visiting researchers, mentors, and collaborators.
- Support the development of a global talent pipeline for ZuGrama.
3. Communication & Writing
- Produce newsletters, updates, program notes, and written material for the community.
- Translate complex concepts across identity/privacy, governance, AI, and scientific fundamentals (bio/physics/neuro) into clear, structured writing.
- Maintain the tone and clarity expected by deep-tech and research-driven audiences.
- Represent ZuGrama in written and spoken communication when required.
4. Social Presence & External Engagement
- Keep ZuGrama active and coherent on X/Twitter, LinkedIn, and relevant platforms.
- Interact regularly with founders, researchers, investors, community members, and partners.
- Build relationships across the global frontier-tech ecosystem.
- Support outreach for upcoming programs and events.
5. Partnerships & Ecosystem Development
- Assist in conversations with investors, philanthropists, labs, accelerators, and research groups.
- Help shape collaborations with aligned institutions in science, technology, and governance.
- Maintain long-term relationships with ecosystem partners and do fundraising in the form of grant writing.
6. Cultural Stewardship
- Maintain and reinforce a culture built on intellectual honesty, clarity of thought, seriousness about ideas, curiosity, and disciplined execution.
- Ensure that norms and expectations reflect a high-trust, high-signal, builder-focused environment.

- Strong operational discipline; able to run complex programs with precision.
- Ability to understand and communicate scientific fundamentals (biology, physics, neuroscience) and advanced technological concepts.
- Mature social presence; comfortable speaking with founders, researchers, investors, and community members.
- Intellectual honesty, curiosity, and ease in navigating ambiguity.
- Willingness to travel frequently for events and residencies.
- Capacity to focus full-time in a fast-paced, early-stage environment.
