Role : Specialist – Molecular Biology
Job Location : Miyapur, Hyderabad
Qualification : PhD/Postdoc in Molecular Biology/Biotechnology with 2 to 6 Years of experience.
What You’ll Do:
As a Specialist in our Molecular Biology team, you will:
- Design and Execute Projects: Independently design and execute a variety of molecular biology strategies to produce engineered antibodies, enzymes, structural and reagent proteins, and mutant strains.
- Lead with Expertise: Utilize your deep knowledge in areas like gene synthesis, cloning, vector design, and mutagenesis. Experience with CRISPR-based prokaryotic mutants, antibody gene sequencing, and protein engineering is essential.
- Innovate and Problem-Solve: Apply your expertise in sequence data analysis, gene expression (using Real-time PCR), and protein engineering to solve complex challenges.
- Manage End-to-End Processes: Oversee the entire process from plasmid production and purification to strain and metabolic engineering. Experience with microbial, yeast, and fungal strains is highly valued.
- Lead and Mentor: Lead and motivate a team of molecular biologists, setting high standards for technical content, R&D, and data integrity.
- Collaborate and Communicate: Work effectively with cross-functional teams, senior management, and clients to present data, share project updates, and ensure project success.
What We’re Looking For:
Technical Skills & Experience:
- Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, or Life Sciences.
- 2-3 years of hands-on industrial or academic experience.
- Proven experience in designing and executing complex molecular biology projects.
- In-depth knowledge of gene synthesis, cloning, and vector design.
- Experience in generating CRISPR-based mutants in prokaryotes is a must.
- Expertise in sequence data analysis and gene expression analysis (Real-time PCR).
- Experience with plasmid production and chromatographic purification is desirable.
- Knowledge of Phage/Yeast display libraries is a plus.
- Familiarity with automation and high-throughput instrumentation is preferred.

- Leadership: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, manage projects independently, and make timely, cost-effective decisions.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex scientific concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior management and clients.
