📢 Passionate about metabolomics and lipidomics — and motivated to take on their experimental and analytical challenges?
We are looking for a highly motivated PhD student to join our team! The project focuses on the systematic characterization and quantification of the microbiome-derived polar and lipid metabolome — including short-chain fatty acids, bile acids, sphingolipids, lipoamino acids, tryptophan, phenylalanine and tyrosine derivatives, polyamines, and more — across a variety of biological matrices derived from diverse model systems regularly analyzed at our platform.
You’ll have the opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art environment within our platform, located at the University of Lausanne (UNIL) in the heart of Lausanne city. This is a long-term PhD position offering a blend of experimental and data-driven research at the intersection of metabolomics and host-microbiome interactions.
