The Intelligent Multifunctional Materials and Systems (IMMS) Lab at Missouri S&T, led by Dr. Bo Mi Lee, is seeking talented and motivated Ph.D. students to join our team!

We encourage self-motivated candidates with interests in the following themes to apply:
– Development of soft materials (hydrogels, polymers, etc.) for wearables
– Development of multifunctional composites for smart structures
– Advanced manufacturing of soft materials or structural composites

Previous experience in the following areas is of particular interest:
– 3D printing
– Functional material synthesis
– Sensors and data acquisition
– Multiscale/Multiphysics modeling
– Artificial intelligence and machine learning
