The Role
We are seeking an experienced Scientist in In Vivo Pharmacology to join our innovative team. This
individual will be a crucial contributor to our drug development efforts, focusing on evaluating the
pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, and safety profiles of novel therapeutics. The ideal candidate will
have extensive experience in designing and conducting in vivo studies, with a strong background in
pharmacology, toxicology, or a related field. Experience with advanced in vivo techniques and data
analysis is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and conduct in vivo pharmacology studies to assess drug efficacy, safety, and
pharmacokinetics. - Develop and implement experimental protocols (i.e. IACUC), including managing experimental
flow for in vivo studies throughout the team. - Collaborate cross functionally with various teams upstream and downstream to meet company
objectives - Evaluate, interpret, and compile relevant data to present to internal interdisciplinary teams
- Document results and records in electronic lab notebooks and ensure adequate laboratory
practices are following regulatory standards for research readiness
Qualifications - BS (5+ years experience), or PhD with 2+ years of relevant experience.
- Proven experience in conducting in vivo studies and technical proficiency with multiple routes of
administration is required - Strong technical skills in various in vivo techniques, including dosing regimens, blood sampling,
and tissue collection is required - Experience with animal handling and welfare regulations (e.g., IACUC guidelines) is strongly
encouraged - Experience with flow cytometry and panel building is strongly encouraged
- A team player able to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced,
entrepreneurial environment
Salary Range: $120,000 – $130,000
