Job Description

I am looking for a hands-on 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 with 1-2 years of lab experience to support an exciting, experimental project we are working on.

The role involves routine wet-lab operations, sterile handling, media preparation, and operation of standard lab equipment (autoclave, laminar flow cabinet, incubator, analytical balance).

If you enjoy figuring things out in the lab, learning fast and hard, and working on something that’s still taking shape, this will feel like the right place.

𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀:
• B.Sc / M.Sc in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or Life Sciences.
• 1–2 years of real lab experience – academic, research, or startup
• Proficiency in aseptic handling, sterilization, and use of standard microbiology equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗻 𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲
Not mandatory – but these things will make you stand out immediately:
• You’ve handled fungal or microbial cultures before.
• You’ve worked on anything involving biocomposites or bio-based materials.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗴𝗲𝘁
• A 6-month contract, with room to extend if things work out well.
• Stipend: ₹20,000–₹25,000/month (based on experience).
• A lab environment at Bangalore Bioinnovation Centre (Electronic City) where you will work closely on an early-stage experimental project.
