Technical Analyst

Education
B.Sc / M.Sc in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, or Life Sciences.
Preferred: Certification in Molecular Diagnostics / MLT.

Experience
0–3 years in a molecular diagnostics/genomics lab.
Hands-on experience with PCR/qPCR, DNA extraction, pipetting, and basic molecular workflows.

Key Responsibilities
Perform plasma extraction, cfDNA extraction, qPCR runs.
Conduct data QC and support in report preparation.
Maintain equipment logs, batch records, temperature logs, and QC documentation.
Adhere to and follow ISO regulations (15189:2022, ISO 17025).
Ensure sample traceability, data integrity, and adherence to SOPs.
Report deviations, nonconformities, and assist in routine QA activities.

Skills & Competencies
Strong pipetting accuracy and workflow discipline.
Knowledge of Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
Familiarity with LIS / digital documentation.
Good communication and teamwork.
High attention to detail, reliability, and ethical conduct.

Regulatory & Compliance Requirements
Adherence to confidentiality, impartiality, and biosafety norms.
Annual competency assessments (knowledge + practical evaluation).
