Our research group is offering two exciting PhD opportunities for the January 2026 intake at the Laboratory For Drug Design and Synthesis, Central University of Punjab. The projects will focus on the design, synthesis, and biological evaluation of small molecules, targeted degraders and conjugates (PROTACs and ADCs) as anticancer agents. Candidates will gain hands-on experience in wet-lab experiments, as well as access to a high-end workstation for π˜ͺ𝘯 𝘴π˜ͺ𝘭π˜ͺ𝘀𝘰 studies. The lab is also equipped with a dedicated cell culture facility, and students will benefit from collaborations with industrial partners, providing exposure to translational research and applied learning.

Candidate Profile:
Highly motivated and skilled candidates with a keen interest in medicinal chemistry, chemical biology, or drug discovery are encouraged to apply.

Fellowship:
Initially, an Institutional Non-NET Fellowship will be provided.

Eligibility:
Candidates must have qualified a national-level examination such as GATE / GPAT / NET for admission into the PhD program.
