Job Description
Infinimmune® is a venture-backed biotechnology company pioneering truly human antibody drug discovery and development. Our Anthrobody® platform sources safe and effective antibodies from humans—powering both our internal pipeline, now approaching the clinic, and discovery programs with pharmaceutical partners. We seek curious, kind, and creative individuals to share our mission of treating human disease with truly human antibodies. If this sounds like you please read on.
Role
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Head of Program & Alliance Management to drive cross-functional execution and orchestrate the activities of our therapeutic antibody programs from early discovery through IND submission, while architecting and scaling the company’s program management function. The successful candidate will play a critical role in providing comprehensive project management for programs progressing toward IND, ensuring alignment, prioritization, and efficient execution across research and preclinical development teams.
Reporting in-person to the VP of Preclinical Development, this individual will be an individual contributor and the primary driver of operational excellence, by collaborating closely with research, preclinical, CMC, and clinical functions to drive program advancement, maintain integrated project plans, and facilitate clear and effective communication among all key stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will also be excited to wear many hats and learn and teach along the way. We care more about what you can do than titles or degrees at Infinimmune, so if this sounds like you, please reach out!
Want to work with us but this job description isn’t a fit for you? We’d still love to hear from you! E-mail us at careers@infinimmune.com.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive program management for therapeutic antibody programs from late discovery through IND submission
- Build and maintain integrated project plans, timelines, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies
- Provide alliance management for external collaborations, including coordination of joint steering and governance committees
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to align activities, resources, and deliverables with program milestones
- Establish and maintain project management tools, processes, and documentation
- Track program progress, identify risks, and prepare updates to support leadership decision-making
- Partner with senior leadership on financial planning and governance to support effective decision-making
Requirements
- Advanced degree (PhD, MS, PharmD) in Immunology, Biochemistry, or a related field, and a strong grasp of biologics development, CMC, and regulatory requirements
- PMP or Lean Six Sigma certification required
- 7–10+ years of biotech/pharma project management experience, specifically driving biologics programs from early discovery through successful IND submission
- Experience generating portfolio analytics, supporting financial planning, and conducting strategic assessments of external opportunities
- Proven ability to manage partnerships (CROs/CDMOs) and external stakeholders in a biotech setting
- High proficiency in PM software (MS Project, Smartsheet) with the ability to build dashboards and tracking systems from scratch
- Exceptional leadership skills with a “lead by influence” approach to managing cross-functional teams and complex dependencies without direct authority
- A detail-oriented “self-starter” who anticipates roadblocks and develops practical solutions for the unexpected challenges inherent in drug development
- A curious, passionate, and collaborative team player who contributes to high-level strategy through individual contribution
