Job Description
Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center
The Tulpule lab is seeking highly motivated postdoctoral fellows to lead multi-disciplinary projects at the interface of pediatric cancer, biomolecular condensates, and DNA repair. The lab pairs fundamental mechanistic biology about cancer-driving fusion oncoproteins and DNA repair condensates with clinical/translational science that is uniquely enabled by MSK’s vast compendium of patient-derived tumor models and human samples. Dr. Tulpule is a pediatric oncologist and physician-scientist, and the goal of these projects is to develop new innovative treatments for pediatric cancers. Additional information about the lab can be found at: https://www.tulpulelab.net/
The lab places a premium on mentorship and this role will position postdoctoral fellows for successful careers in academia or industry. The scientific environment at MSKCC is exciting, diverse, and inclusive, and post-doctoral fellows will have access to the scientific communities and state-of-the-art facilities at Rockefeller and Weill-Cornell Medical School (as part of the tri-institutional campus). MSKCC provides competitive salaries, full benefits including paid family leave, and importantly, access to subsidized institutional housing.
The ideal candidate should have:
- Extensive experience in molecular biology and biochemical techniques
- Strong track record of publications
- Previous research in DNA repair is beneficial, but not required.
