Now Recruiting: Postdoctoral Fellow in Translational Cancer Research
📍 Georgia Cancer Center, Augusta University (Augusta, GA)
The Macias Lab is recruiting a highly motivated Postdoctoral Fellow to join us as we launch an exciting new phase at the Georgia Cancer Center.
Our research focuses on understudied kinases in aggressive cancers, integrating functional genomics, RNA biology, and preclinical models to uncover novel therapeutic vulnerabilities.
🧬 What you’ll work on:
Kinase-driven lineage plasticity and therapy resistance
Functional evaluation of novel cancer dependencies
Translational strategies targeting aggressive cancer subtypes
✅ We’re looking for:
PhD in cancer biology, molecular biology, or a related field
Strong experimental background (cell/molecular biology; genomics/proteomics a plus)
Motivated, independent, and collaborative.
