PhD Position – Biomaterials / Biomechanics / Tissue Engineering

📍 Lyon & Grenoble, France | ⏳ 36 months | 📅 Start: Fall 2026

We are seeking a PhD candidate for the CNRS project ARCHIVIBRACELL, focused on the development of 3D biomimetic vocal fold models. This interdisciplinary project combines biomaterials, mechanics, and voice modeling, in collaboration between LBTI (Lyon), 3SR and GIPSA-lab (Grenoble).

The project aims to design multilayered hydrogel-based structures and investigate their mechanical, vibratory, and cell-mediated properties under physiologically relevant conditions.

Profile: Master’s degree in bioengineering, mechanics/vibration/acoustics, biomaterials, biology, or related fields, with strong interest in experimental research.
