Job TitleManager – Business Development
Job Description1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Manufacturing, Finance, and Patents to drive New Product Selection and conduct related market analysis.
2. Prepare and compile impactful business presentations for senior management.
3. Manage cost improvement initiatives for the API portfolio, aligning with market price expectations and coordinating with Manufacturing, Operational Excellence, and R&D.
4. Conduct market intelligence using multiple databases to identify new customers, generate pricing insights, and share findings with the BD team.
5. Drive lead generation and convert new project opportunities across assigned territories.
6. Support long-range business planning and revenue budgeting in close coordination with BD leads across geographies.
7. Perform quarterly competitor benchmarking on key parameters within the APIs industry.
8. Execute large-scale customer surveys (400+ customers) in collaboration with the Customer Centricity team.
9. Manage customer communications by preparing and circulating regular updates through flyers and mailing lists.
10. Coordinate cross-functional activities to support business objectives in identified market territories.
